The Rainbow Treasures of Little Toti
Toti, the tiny tiyanak, peeked from behind a sun-drenched banana leaf. His large, mint-green ears twitched with excitement as he watched the village children play near the riverbank. Instead of bearing sharp fangs to scare them, Toti smiled softly, holding his favourite handmade treasures.
With a hopeful heart, he waddled forward into the warm, golden sunlight. He gently laid out his toys on a woven mat: smooth river stones painted in vivid ruby-red patterns, spinning tops carved from mahogany, and little dolls made of braided emerald-green ferns.
The children gasped, but Toti just pushed a carved wooden stick-figure toward a smiling girl. Instantly, the fear dissolved into bright laughter, filling the forest with a kaleidoscope of joy as a new friendship blossomed.
