The Celestial Current
High above the mountain peaks, where the air thins into silk, swims Kibo. He is not a creature of the river, but a traveler of the Amethyst Skies. With a flick of his tail, Kibo glides through billowing cumulus clouds that feel like cool, wet cotton candy against his scales.
His body is a mosaic of iridescent tangerine and electric indigo, shimmering vividly against the deep azure backdrop. As he breaches a cloud bank, he leaves a wake of glittering stardust in the vapour. To Kibo, the sun is a giant golden pearl, and the wind is a current leading him toward the edge of the world.
