It was an oasis of polished cobalt metal and gleaming silver against the turbulent gloom. Its vast mechanical wings, panelled with iridescent alloy that shifted from emerald green to deep violet, spread wide, waiting.
Suddenly, the cloud mountains fractured. Jagged spears of lightning—white-hot gold and crackling electric turquoise—erupted toward the centre. They struck the Monarch’s wings, but caused no destruction. Instead, the transformer bloomed with light. The raw energy coursed through its external circuits, outlining its frame in neon brilliance. Floating serenely at the hurricane's heart, the metallic butterfly was a beautiful conductor, transforming the storm’s chaotic fury into pure, shimmering power.
