The Story of the Singing Parrots
Pip and Poppy, two parrots as bright as stained glass, perched on a cherry branch laden with juicy, red fruit. Pip, a splash of emerald and sapphire, puffed out his chest. "La-dee-da!" he squawked, a tune as green as the leaves around him. Poppy, a vibrant mix of ruby and gold, chirped back, "Tweet-tweet-TOO!" Her song shimmered like sunshine on a ripe cherry. The branch, heavy with fruit, swayed gently. "Let's sing a song that makes the cherries grow bigger!" Pip suggested. Poppy nodded, her golden head bobbing. What kind of song would they sing? Maybe a song about dancing rainbows? Or one about sparkly stardust? Imagine, children, what colours their song would bring to the cherries! What magic will their music create?
