The Fantail’s Amethyst Feast

The Fantail’s Amethyst Feast

The Fantail’s Amethyst Feast

In a secluded corner of the garden, a rustic wooden pergola was completely conquered by a magnificent grapevine. Its broad leaves formed a canopy of emerald and sun-drenched jade, shading the world below. Hanging heavily from the twisted branches were clusters of grapes that looked like precious jewels—some were deep, mysterious amethyst globes, while others were translucent ruby spheres dusted with natural frost. Beneath this leafy ceiling, a lush sea of feathery ferns in shades of viridian and chartreuse carpeted the earth. A tiny, energetic fantail bird, with a tail that fanned out like spun silver and charcoal silk, fluttered onto a vine. Perched delicately, it sampled a single, sun-warmed sapphire grape, delighting in the sweet nectar.
