Guardians of the Golden Grove
In the serene Whispering Peony Garden, where ancient pagodas stood sentinel amidst weeping willows, two celestial fairies, Mei and Jia, graced the twilight. Mei, with robes the colour of dawn's first blush, held aloft a magnificent scarlet lantern, its silken tassels swaying gently, casting a warm, amber glow. Beside her, Jia, in garments of soft periwinkle, cradled a woven basket overflowing with gleaming golden sycee, each ingot shimmering like captured moonlight.
They walked along a path paved with smooth river stones, past ponds where lotus blossoms of pristine white unfurled. Their laughter, light as wind chimes, mingled with the rustle of bamboo. These guardians of prosperity and light brought blessings to the slumbering garden, their presence a vibrant painting against the deepening indigo of the evening sky.
