Good Health Tips for Future Beauty

Beauty Care

The Eye, Face, Hands, Hair, Mouth, and Feet

The Eye

  • Take breaks from close work. Every 20 minutes or so, look into the distance for a minute to relax your focusing muscles.
  • Blink often. Blinking helps to lubricate your eyes.
  • Wash your hands regularly. Germs from your hands can transfer to your eyes and cause infection.
  • Drink plenty of water. Staying hydrated is important for overall health, including eye health.
  • Exercise regularly. Exercise improves circulation, which can help to reduce puffiness and dark circles under the eyes.
  • Wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from the sun's harmful UV rays.
  • Get regular eye exams. This will help to identify any potential eye problems early on.
  • By following these tips, you can help to keep your eyes healthy and looking their best for years to come.

Face Fats

  • Avoid touching your face with your hands, as this can spread germs.
  • To get an idea of what you would look like with a face lift, lie on your back and hold a mirror above your face.
  • Drinking plenty of water and exercising regularly can help keep your skin looking healthy.

Show of Hands

  • Scrape your nails over a bar of soap before gardening or working on your car to remove dirt and grime.
  • Bleach stains on your nails by soaking your fingertips in half a lemon for a few minutes, then rinsing with lukewarm water.

Footnotes

  • Feet sweat about one glass of water per day, so wool or cotton socks are the best choice. Synthetic socks and non-washable canvas or vinyl shoes can encourage fungus growth.
  • If you have back pain, check your feet for problems such as calluses, corns, or poor weight distribution.
  • Wear shoes that fit well and shop for them late in the day, when your feet are at their largest.
  • To refresh tired feet, soak them in cool water.

Hairy Situation

  • Shampoo your hair gently, following the direction of hair growth.
  • Use lukewarm water, as hot water can damage your scalp.
  • Clean combs and brushes in hot water and scrub them with an old toothbrush.
  • If your hair has static, spray your brush with a static-free product made for clothing.

A Mouthful

  • Tooth whiteners can damage your enamel, so it's best to have regular professional cleanings instead.
  • Always brush your tongue when you brush your teeth to remove food particles and prevent bad breath.
  • Denture wearers should be examined by a dentist every six months.

Getting a Move On

  • Exercise is important for everyone, regardless of weight. If you don't exercise, you will lose muscle and gain fat.
  • Climbing five more flights of stairs per day can help you lose about five pounds per year.
  • Walking is a great way to improve overall health, and it's less likely to cause injuries than jogging.
